Our programming is designed to support athletes from their very first steps on the ice through to high-level, competitive play. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, Wheatland offers three distinct pathways—each with its own purpose, focus, and community—while sharing the same values, coaching philosophy, and commitment to development.
From foundational skill-building and confidence on the ice, to structured team development, to advanced performance training, every Wheatland athlete has a place to learn, grow, and thrive. Wheatland Fundamentals
New Skaters +
The starting point for on-ice journeys. Wheatland Fundamentals focuses on fun, confidence, and foundational movement skills for new skaters and players. Designed to build comfort on the ice and a love for being there, this program creates strong first steps that set athletes up for long-term success.
Wheatland Hockey Club
U9 - U15
Our core development program for growing players. Wheatland Hockey Club builds strong skating habits, hockey IQ, and confidence through structured, skill-focused training. It’s a supportive environment where athletes continue developing their game while learning how to play with purpose, creativity, and teamwork.
Wheatland Performance
U11 - U18
Where players elevate their game. Wheatland Performance is designed for athletes ready for advanced training and increased challenge. With a focus on detail, decision-making, and high-level skill execution, this pathway supports players pushing toward competitive and high level play —while staying grounded in long-term development.
