These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wheatland Hockey Club mobile application (the “App”) and related services provided by Wheatland Hockey Club (“Wheatland,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by parents, guardians, athletes, coaches, and community members associated with Wheatland Hockey Club programs.

If you are under the age of majority in your province, a parent or legal guardian must register and provide consent on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, users may be required to:

Create an account
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Program Participation

Registration in Wheatland programs through the App does not guarantee team placement. Participation is subject to:

Program capacity
Payment completion
Compliance with Wheatland policies
Code of Conduct expectations

Wheatland reserves the right to remove a participant for violations of conduct or safety standards.

4. Payments & Refunds

If payments are processed through the App:

All fees are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Deposits may be non-refundable where indicated.
Refund policies are governed by the specific program registration terms.

Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers.

5. Code of Conduct

All users agree to:

Act respectfully toward athletes, families, coaches, and staff
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour
Use the App solely for legitimate Wheatland-related purposes

Violation may result in suspension of App access and/or removal from programming.

6. Media & Content

Photos, videos, testimonials, or other materials submitted through the App may be used for:

Team communications
Website or social media promotion
Community engagement initiatives

Media use will align with Wheatland’s registration consent policies. Users must not upload content that infringes on others’ rights.

7. Intellectual Property

All logos, branding, program names, designs, and content within the App are the property of Wheatland Hockey Club and may not be reproduced without written permission.

8. App Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Wheatland is not responsible for:

Temporary outages
Device compatibility issues
Third-party platform disruptions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wheatland Hockey Club is not liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of data
Issues arising from third-party integrations

Participation in hockey programming carries inherent physical risks. These Terms do not replace formal waivers signed during registration.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
